After a hike near Evans Head we drove towards Yamba. The phone system was down at Yamba, unbeknownst to us, so we couldn’t contact our friend Julie. We detoured to Maclean for coffee and while there we were able to make contact.

We drove to Yamba and Jungle Jules home. It was a great night of chatting and drinking. Eventually, I went to bed and was woken by Jacinta and Julie giggling and bouncing off the van at 1:30am. They had a good time.

A great night lead to feeling very ordinary in the morning.

We had a morning chat with Julie and Zane and headed off to the beach at Yamba. We rested there and later drove to Lawrence.
