NIMBIN

We left Mebbin National Park for a bike repair shop in Kyogle. We got there and the shop was no longer in business. We visited the Information Centre and decided to head towards Nimbin and go the Lismore the following day to get my bike fixed.
At Nimbin, we settled into the showground camp area and had a wander through town. We were both a little disappointed with the town. The shops seemed similar; the street looked tired and in parts unclean and neglected. There was also an element of unsavoury characters roaming around that had my warning bells ringing. Not the pleasant and relaxed walk we were expecting. J
Back at camp, the owners were friendly and the place seemed mainly filled with older hippies.
9 SEPTEMBER 2020
A cold night. We woke to heavy, thick and chilly fog.
The fog cleared by 8am. We packed and started on our next adventure.
