AUSTRALIA - QUEENSLAND - 1770 and Agnes Waters - october 2003

The township of 1770 nad Agnes Waters is locateed north of Bundaberg on the Queensland coast. 1770 is a small fishing town beside a large bay where the river empties out forming massive sandbars. The view is excellent of the bay. Birdlife here is abundant. No need for alarm clocks. The estuary is good for boating and if conditions are right the windsurfing is excellent.

Agnes Waters is a short distance away but is an upmarket trendy little town. The beach has waves and a sandy point  that can hold a big swell.
