AUSTRALIA - Lennox Head - april 2004


Lennox Head is the name of the village sitiuated at the southern end of Seven Mile Beach, just north of the Lennox Headland itself.


The permanent resident population is approximately 1900, the total population reaches up to 3000 in peak tourist season.


Lennox head is a quiet town with a small number of restaurants. The beach is white sand. The southern end of the beach has an extensive reef.

Lennox Head has excellent surf though it is difficult to get in and out of the water.


Lake Ainsworth at the northern end of the town is excellent for fresh water swimming.
