REUNION - SOUTH COAST TOUR - 16 FEBRUARY 2020

A few days was spent at a reunion with the guys I surfed with at Bondi. That was about 50 years ago.

We hired a house at Mollymook.

The days were spent swimming, surfing, wandering around and recovering.

The nights were dinner, music and bantering.

It was good to see everyone - Ball, Dakka, Pluck, Lenny, Badgy, Hazza, Robo, Beacon, Gyspy, Dick, Mando, Peter C, Tony T, Mick Z, Newby, H and Clive P.

Some weekend reminiscing -

devastation of bushfires - homes and nature

couldn't find wallet

hearing aide batteries flat - forgot spares

swims at nearby beach

music sessions by Dick, Lenny and Dakka

chatting with H and Clive as it had been a long time no see

fun surf at Golf Course Reef and Mollymook Beach

wandering around the area

AVOCA LAGOON KAYAK AND GOSFORD JAPANESE GARDENS CONCERT - 20 NOVEMBER 2016

A fun 5.41km kayak around Avoca Lagoon.

The water level wasn't too high but it was enough to get the far tributary of Saltwater Creek. The waterway narrows gradually passing underneath a small bridge. once pass this point it is difficult to even paddle without striking the creek banks.

The birds were amazing this morning. There were so many out and about. The best part was a nesting Black Swan.

Afterwards, we went to a music concert at Gosford Japanese Gardens.

Such a great venue with the musicians playing on a stage above the ponds that were teeming with fish and ducks.

The music was good with jazz by Dorian Mode and an upbeat violinist playing in another session. And it was free!!!!

LAYCOCK THEATRE - MY LATIN HEART - 26 AUGUST 2015

A great night of music - My Latin Heart with baritone Jose Carbo, along with brilliant classical guitarists Slava and Leonard Grigoryan.

The Grigoryan's are so good - their hands fly up and down the guitar, play different parts in harmony - play with feeling.

Jose singing is brilliant - feeling and passion.

The link below is to one of their songs

My favourite song of the night was Oblivion'- it was so haunting! :)

CENTRAL COAST - Liss'n Sweetie - Hardys Bay RSL - 19 February 2012

Sunny and warm Sunday afternoon, off to listen to 'Liss'n Sweetie'.  My old college friends Helena and Tony were playing.

It was a great afternoon with the music either flicking me back to the past or pulling me forward into the present.
