LEGIAN
31 JULY
We arrived in Legian from
Balian after a two hour drive.
We settled into the Grand
Kumala Hotel and had lunch then it was time to get things ready for Sumba –
cashed money and food from the Bintang Supermarket.
We packed our bags for
Sumba and organised our excess gear to go into the hotel storeroom.
I had a massage at the
Sicilian Spa.
It was now late afternoon
and we wandered down to the beach to meet Wal and Desti and their friends Dean
and his wife. We had a few beers and watched the sunset. We were going to have
dinner at the Beatles night but Wal mixed up the restaurants and so we ate the
Mozzarella Restaurant. Nice food.
1 AUGUST
We had an early breakfast
and then finished packing our bags. Gousti arrived at the hotel at 8am to take
us to the domestic airport for our next adventure – Sumba.
