CENTRAL COAST - 23 SEPTEMBER TO 1 OCTOBER 2022

 23 SEPTEMBER

A hike at Bouddi NP along the tracks towards Rocky Point and Alan Strom Lookout.

About three wildflowers were in abundance. The yellow flowers lined the narrow tracks. A great view at the end at the lookout.

24 SEPTEMBER

A kayak at Brisbane Water NP along Mooney Mooney Creek and into Flood Creek.

A great kayak with the scenery becoming primal towards the end of Floods Creek – overhanging trees, large ferns lining the bank, tumbled down boulders and moss-covered logs and rocks. Very pretty.

25 SEPTEMBER

A hike at Brisbane Water NP on the Warrah trig tracks.

I parked at the start of Warrah Trig Road … so many wildflowers. A single waratah was in bloom.

I wandered along the road taking a few short diversions just to see what was there. Meandered down the Tony Track to Warrah Lookout. There were more wildflowers and a panoramic view along the Hawkesbury River and Pittwater.

26 SEPTEMBER

A mountain bike at Kincumba Mountain.

I did a fun run on the summit track but was having troubles with the chain in first gear. On closer inspection, a cover for the chain had broken off. Not serious but I needed to go back home to fix it.

Later, Jacinta and I had a walk around the Haven and coffee on the beach.

27 SEPTEMBER

A surf check at Wamberal and North Avoca Beaches.

A mountain bike ride at Kincumba Mountain. A fun time on very quiet tracks.

Coffee on the beach at Terrigal Haven with Jacinta.

28 SEPTEMBER

A fun surf at Wamberal Beach.

A nice small right wave in front of the big house. I had it to myself for nearly an hour before the wind changed direction.

29 SEPTEMBER

Breakfast and walk around the Terrigal Haven.

1 OCTOBER

A hike along the lower section of Rumbalara Reserve.

A great hike with ferns, cliffs, overhanging ledges, some views, birdlife and a wallaby.
