7 MARCH
STRAHAN TO QUEENSTOWN
Food
Stop for view break
Booked camp
Coffee/snack in town
Wander through the town.
A great view straight up the main street.
MOUNT OWEN for a mountain
bike ride. The tracks going to the top were a bit confusing as they crisscrossed over each other. I finally got to the short loop and had an
awesome ride to the bottom. For me, very challenging and exciting. Great views!
IRON BLOW LOOKOUT – a big
hole in the ground filled with water. Sounds bad but it looked nice.
HORSE TAIL FALLS hike –
along a board walk traversing the steep hill edge. The water was barely flowing
but the journey was worth it.
Bee sting – Sitting,
reading, got up, wham step on a bee bare foot, hurty.
