DINNER AND WICKED - 22 OCTOBER 2016

We went out for dinner at an Italian restaurant in East Gosford.

The meals were so big. I could finish mine even though I was very hungry at the start.

After dinner we went to see 'Wicked' at the Laycock theatre.

The Laycock theatre is small and cozy. The production was excellent with great props, an entertaining storyline and great singing from the four leading characters.

A good night.

LAYCOCK THEATRE - MY LATIN HEART - 26 AUGUST 2015

A great night of music - My Latin Heart with baritone Jose Carbo, along with brilliant classical guitarists Slava and Leonard Grigoryan.

The Grigoryan's are so good - their hands fly up and down the guitar, play different parts in harmony - play with feeling.

Jose singing is brilliant - feeling and passion.

The link below is to one of their songs

My favourite song of the night was Oblivion'- it was so haunting! :)

CENTRAL COAST HIKE - WATERVIEW PARK - 6 march 2015

I had a short amount of time this morning so I went for a short hike at Waterview Park.

I have looked at the hill a number of times over the years and was surprised by the pleasant view from the top. In sections there are views of Brisbane Water and Gosford.

The road up is short and steep and the short track follows the top of the hill and ends in huge rocks with a long drop over the edge.

It isn't the cleanest spot but it is still pretty and a good spot for a coffee while enjoying the view.

CENTRAL COAST - BRISBANE WATER - 'THE FORESHORE' MTB - 29 May 2013

Another great day! My foot still isn't better so another bike ride is on the cards.

I usually go on rougher tracks but today I thought...why not the waterfront around Brisbane Waters at Gosford.

The track was easy to follow with only a few steeper sections. The variety of landscapes it passed was amazing.

I started at the Gosford Sailing Club enjoying the expanse of the waters. Cycling around it in the warm sun was a pleasure. There were bridges large and small, tunnels, boardwalks, snippets of views around Fagans Bay, long flat stretches and parks. Quite a good ride.
