21 SEPTEMBER 2018
A good flight from Laos to Thailand - roomy enough, food and drinks.
We arrived at Bangkok International Airport - customs, baggage pickup and shuttle bus to our hotel. It was so quick and smooth.
We checked into the hotel, settled into our room and wandered down to the bar for snacks and drinks.
22 SEPTEMBER 2018
We woke, had breakfast and boarded the shuttle bus for the airport.
We had a problem with our ticket as it didn't include the airport tax. We paid and boarded our Thai Airways flight for Bali.

THAILAND, BANGKOK - STOPOVER - 8 SEPTEMBER 2018
7 SEPTEMBER 2018
Off for a new adventure. We checked in, went through customs and away we flew to Bangkok on Thai Airlines. A good 4 hour flight with entertainment and drinks.
We arrived at Bangkok airport and there were no problems until we got to the shuttle bus pick up point for our hotel. I stuffed up the booking and it wasn't till tomorrow night. The guy rang the hotel and they had a vacancy for tonight so we took that and off we went in a shuttle bus.
The hotel was nice though it was difficult at first - checked in then the visa machine wouldn't work so they took me off in the bus to visa machine that work that happened to be another part of the hotel. I checked in and paid and the bus went back to get Jacinta and the bags. We were now staying in this hotel which was the same hotel but it was in different location. Try and understand that one. Haha. The room was nice and we had a beer at the hotel bar then went to sleep.
8 SEPTEMBER 2018
In the morning, we had breakfast and spent an hour or so at the rooftop pool before getting in the shuttle bus back to the airport for the final leg of our journey - Laos.

Thailand - 1982
Travelled up the east coast of Thailand. Stayed at koi Samui for a week, then north to Bangkok. Stayed at Chang mai and did a jungle trek for five days. It was very muddy but the villages were all so different.
