SYDNEY BLACKBUTT CREEK MTB - 2 MAY 2016
In Sydney on a sunny afternoon.
Time for a MTB at Blackbutt Creek.
Blackbutt Creek is basically a stormwater drainage area but the water looked clear and the area smelled nice.
The creek and it's thickly vegetated and steep valley is in the centre of suburbia. A short peddle off the main road and then ... where did the city go? It goes to show that natural and urban areas can get along.
The ride was basically a service road with some very steep sections and a few side walking tracks.
I enjoyed this short but challenging 5km ride.
