Our journey
We caught a car from Padangbai to Legian. After 1 ½ hours,
we arrived at the Grand Kumala Hotel, Legian and settled into our room.

Today, our daughters were arriving from Australia for a week in Indonesia.
We finalised the Gili Fast Boat tickets with the Cevin
Tours on the Ekajaya, had beers on the beach, dinner then a car to the airport
to pick up the girls.

They arrived at 9:45pm and got through customs, etc. by 10:30pm
A nice but tired family reunion!
The next morning, we were picked up by at 8am and drove to
Padangbai and the fast boat to Gili Trawangan.
It was a crappy, old shuttle bus and the door struck and it
wouldn’t open at Padangbai. It took ages to get the bags out.
