Gili Trawangan is one of the three Gili Islands in Lombok, Indonesia. It is the most popular island and has a range of accomodation, great food and lots of things to do. The island is surrounded by white sand and crystal-clear, warm water. It is a place where doing nothing is a good thing to do.

Massage – 185 000 rupiah for 90 stone massage

Snorkel off beach and drift along with the currents at the north, east, south and between surf breaks in the south. Best sites are trawangan wall, turbo reef and halik reef.

Walk around and through the island

Inter island transport

Catch inter-island ferry to Gili Meno (30 000 rupiah) or Gili Air (35 000 rupiah). Leaves 9:30am and returns at 3:00 (Air) and 3:30 (Meno). Boat also leaves at 4:00 pm so you will need to stay overnight on the other islands.

Public boat to Bangsal – 10 000 rupiah – leaves every hour once it has 25 passengers.

Charter boat to Gili Air or Gili Meno – 250 000 rupiah one way.
